Ferruccio Deiana has always had a special bond with Vinitaly, considered one of the most important events in the international wine scene. It is a unique opportunity to compare with other production realities, establish new collaborations and consolidate existing ones, as well as enhance the Italian and Sardinian wine heritage in particular. "Vinitaly is a moment of sharing my passion for wine and our territory, meeting old friends and making new ones, it is challenging, especially at my age, but every year I have fun," says Ferruccio, tireless as always, having turned his passion into his job.
In 2005, Ferruccio Deiana received a prestigious recognition at Vinitaly, winning the Cangrande Award. This award, named after the great Veronese leader Cangrande della Scala, is awarded each year to personalities in the wine world who have distinguished themselves for the quality of their wines and their commitment to promoting the industry. Winning the Cangrande Award was an important milestone for Ferruccio Deiana and his winery, confirming the hard work carried out over the years. The Cangrande is considered a lifetime achievement award, and since 2005, another 18 years of career have been added.
